Charles R. Dyas, Jr. concentrates his practice on all aspects of business and commercial litigation, business compliance, administrative law, environmental law, real property and zoning, and mediation of commercial disputes. He also has represented creditors and creditor committees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings; assisted financial institutions with commercial foreclosures, workouts, receiverships and collection of commercial debts; and represented the Ohio Department of Insurance Liquidation Office in pursuing claims in insolvency proceedings.

Mr. Dyas has more than 30 years of litigation experience and has represented clients in complex litigation matters in both federal and state courts. He has defended and pursued cases for breach of contract claims; commercial loan defaults; products liability, toxic tort claims; federal and state environmental cases; and oil and gas issues.

Mr. Dyas has also represented clients before a variety of state and local governmental agencies, including zoning boards; boards of revision; Public Utilities Commission of Ohio; Ohio Board of Tax Appeals; Ohio Elections Commission; Ohio Secretary of State; Ohio Environmental Protection Agency; Ohio Department of Natural Resources; Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations; and the Ohio Attorney General’s Charitable Contribution section.

Mr. Dyas lives in Union County with his wife where he enjoys biking.  He is the father of two children and a grandfather as well.
