Joyce first started at Schulze, Cox, Will in 2012 as a Receptionist and now works in the areas of Probate and Trust Termination and Real Estate. After working as a Lead Customer Service Representative for a national photography studio, Joyce joined the firm. Joyce holds a degree in Accounting from Harding Business College in Marion, Ohio, and lives in Marysville with her husband Brian and is the mother of two adult daughters and the grandmother of three grandchildren.
After thirteen years in the banking industry, Carlota joined Midland Title Agency of Union County. Carlota is responsible for preparing all closing documents and performing closing for Midland Title Agency of Union County. Carlota is a licensed representative with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Carlota resides in Marysville with her husband Dana and her three sons, one of which is in the military.
Christine joined our team in July of 2016 as our receptionist legal assistant and assists with preparing business documentation. Christine has 15 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, and before joining Schulze, Cox & Will, she worked part-time for the Marysville School District. Christine holds a degree in Business Technology/Administrative Assistant from the University of Cincinnati. Christine lives in Marysville with her husband Scott and has two grown children.
Lisa joined our team in November of 2020 as a legal assistant after 14 years of experience as an Optician in the Eyecare Industry. Lisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Otterbein University. She works in the areas of Civil Litigation and Real Estate. She lives in Marysville with her husband Mark, and is the mother of two adult children and has four grandchildren.
Tami first started with the firm in 1988. While beginning her career by working with Midland Title Agency of Union County, Tami later moved to the position of law office administrator. Currently, Tami serves as Office Manager and works in the areas of Estate Planning, Adoption, and Guardianship and working with Midland Title Agency of Union County.
Tami lives in Mount Victory with her husband Brian and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
Stephanie Miller is the newest addition to the law firm, joining in 2022 as the Front Desk Coordinator where she is responsible for making our clients feel comfortable. Stephanie came to us after working 11 years at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. Stephanie had a degree from ITT Technical Institute in Criminal Justice. She lives in Raymond with her husband.
In July of 2018, the firm and community lost a real estate giant. Frank Howard, a fixture of firm and of Midland Title Agency of Union County, passed away, survived by his wife Angie and his four children.
Frank was a partner in the predecessor firm, Schulze, Howard & Cox. Frank practiced primarily in the areas of Real Estate, Probate, and Contracts, and was a Title Agent for First American Title and Old Republic Title Insurance Company. He was a fixture at the Union County Recorder's Office where you could find him searching titles.
A life long resident of Union County, Frank graduated from Fairbanks High School and went on to received his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Kent State University in 1972. After a short stint teaching, Frank received his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University in 1975.
Frank's passion for his faith, and his unique personality are missed by all whom he touched.
After over fifty years of practice, Dennis Schulze, retired from the practice of law in 2020. Dennis graduated from Mount Union College with a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctorate from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. After graduating from law school, Dennis joined the Army and later the Army Reserves in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he retired reaching the rank of Colonel in 1997, after twenty-nine years of service.
In 1983, Dennis opened the law firm which ultimately became Schulze, Cox & Will and acted as senior partner Dennis practiced primarily in the areas of Litigation, Land Use Development, Real Estate and Probate.
Dennis is known for his passion for helping the community. In 2009, he co-founded Union County Volunteer Guardians, Inc. where Dennis served as Vice Chairman. In addition, in 2016 he became heavily involved in the revitalization of the Avalon Theater in Marysville, Ohio. His passion for this project continues today. In 2019, Dennis published his memoir, “Welcome to the Army” and is working on publishing a second book, “So You Want to be a Litigator.”
Dennis continues to reside in Marysville with his wife Karen. Dennis and Karen love to travel, especially to visit their two children and four grandchildren.
